Health & Safety is not only a priority across AJS sites. The safety of our office staff is equally important to us, which is why two new members of the team at our Chelmsford-based Head Office recently took part in Red Cross First Aid Training.
The AJS staff are now qualified to help anyone with mild injuries and to respond to any emergencies that arise for staff in the office. Training included dressing wounds, treating burns, using a defibrillator, the Heimlich manoeuvre, the recovery position and CPR, among other practices.
While we hope the newly-acquired skills won’t be needed, it is essential that this support is available to all our staff, should it ever be required. We’re grateful to the team members who volunteered to provide first aid for their colleagues.
