Alongside working on residential and commercial properties for a range of social housing providers and councils, AJS has been delivering improvements for the Church of England.
For the past 3 years, our fire and electrical specialist teams have been working on the Grade II listed Church House, which is home to the headquarters of the Church of England.
Improvements at the Corporation of Church House include testing and repairs of fire extinguishers, dampers and curtains; aspiration protection, including early warning detection of critical areas such as data rooms; and EICR testing and thermal imaging reporting on distribution boards.
Based behind the iconic Westminster Abbey, the historic Church House hosted the UK Parliament during World War II. It was also subsequently used by the newly formed United Nations, including the very first meeting of the UN Security Council.
