Friday 5th June is World Environment Day.
Keen to play our part in protecting the planet, and with a view to becoming carbon neutral, AJS has introduced a new fleet of plug-in hybrid vans. Some of the vehicles are already being used by our operatives working on our Sovereign Network Group (SNG) contract, while others are set to be used by our team in Havering Council.
The new Ford Custom vans are a plug-in hybrid model that has an electric range of up to 72 miles and charges up when the break is applied. As a result, they more than cover the mileage of the daily commute and work schedule of our operatives, while relying solely on electricity.
We intentionally selected the most compact van model required to meet the needs of our operatives, so that our team can do an effective, efficient job while generating the lowest possible emissions.
