London-based Housing Association, Newlon Housing Trust has expanded our current fire safety workload to include a new electrical testing programme for “dwellings and communals”.
The project will see our engineers work across a mix of resident-occupied properties, including new build and older buildings. Our Administration Team will be providing a call centre and appointment booking service to ensure residents are made aware of works and to ensure hassle-free access for engineers.
With the residents’ safety firmly in mind, any electrical elements deemed to be dangerous will be immediately remedied. Equally, smoke detectors will be changed during the same visit to ensure they are renewed ahead of their expiry dates. By combining fire and electrical improvements in one visit like this, AJS can provide a cost-saving for Newlon and reduce disruption for residents.
