The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea has awarded AJS a significant new contract.
The programme of works will see AJS install standalone generators within purpose-built enclosures, providing four residential blocks with a secondary power supply. One of the lifts within each building will also be upgraded to a Fire Fighters lift (in as far as practicable).
The high value contract will ensure these high-rise properties have a more reliable power supply and a safer infrastructure going forward.
Capital Delivery Manager (M&E) for the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, Paul Foster commented on AJS’ appointment:
“The safety of our residents is paramount. These new generators will ensure that critical systems, such as the new lifts, remain operational during power outages. AJS has years of specialist experience in electrical and fire safety services. So, we are confident that they are well-placed to deliver a quality result for our residents.”
